All I can say is that if I found out that my husband had posted his photos and a profile on an internet dating site, it would be a very, very big deal to me. It would be an even bigger deal if I knew that he was corresponding with other women and (once I found out) told me that he only did it for a "joke" and because it made him feel good to know that other women found him attractive. And then tried to put it on me by saying that it was my fault because things I said or did made him feel unloved. To me, that kind of thing is the start of infidelity. Even if I found out during a time when he hadn't physically cheated, I would see it as him starting down that road. I would have a hard time even starting to put it behind me unless I felt that he fully realized the seriousness of what he'd done and would never, ever do something like that again. If he was still voicing the excuses you've written here, I would think that he still doesn't get it. If you have other problems in your marriage-- and it sounds like you do--I think that this was more than just an inappropriate way to deal with them. This seems more like creating a new problem to add to all of the others. If you do try to work things out, my guess is that this internet flirting thing is going to be one more issue you guys have to address.

Although some HI's DO walk on roofs, most don't....as, first and foremost, it can prove to be dangerous, in terms of falling through if the under sheathing is rotted through in any place. Second, walking on the roof can cause additional damage to roofing material...especially if it is not brand new. When roofers walk, they have the means to repair any damage that they may cause...HI's don't. Also, some roofs can't be walked upon at all due to pitch and/or type without special equipment. All of the above is why most if not all HI regulations do not require roofs to be walked upon. And...if an HI does walk on a roof, that does not necessarily mean he will noticeÂÂor report...anything more than he or she would otherwise...as more often than not, the lack of info in an HI report is due to haste, and/or not wanting to complicate the REA's deal...rather than lack of expertise. Last but not least, Tennessee does not specify binocular magnification...as does NJ. With proper magnification, one can see any visual defects as well as they can be seen by walking upon the roof. If there is an area that is not visible for some reason, this is supposed to be identified in the report. The methods used to inspect the roof should be set forth in the contract. The contract should be read BEFORE hiring the HI, in order that questions can be asked and answered. If the HI does not walk the roof, one then has the option of finding one who does...although that is more easily said then done, for the above mentioned reasons. Failing that, upon reading the report, it should have stated that the roof inspection was performed using binoculars. At that point the buyer has the option of obtaining another opinion. In this case, it is not clear as to why a crack was visible...but no evidence of water damage...such as staining, etc....which is why I asked how the insurance company knew the problem was pre-purchase. Last but not least, I am not sure what the OP means about not "signing off" on the inspection... ...again, more definitive info is needed in order to supply helpful opinions. And yes...at this point, the roof should be repaired...but, personally I would get a 3rd opinion....

They are called PRIMARY care because, in theory, they are overseeing, coordinating, and managing your overall care. Your PCP should have received from all the consultants their recommendations addressing each of their bits of turf. He/she should also be able to access the discharge summaries or sign off notes from the hospital to see what each recommended. If he doesn't know or can't find the information in the paperwork/records, he should be making the effort to contact the specialist himself. Also, I thought it was a NATIONAL standard of care (and regulatory requirement) that on discharge, in the discharge instructions given to you, each of your pre-admission medications are reviewed and instructions given whether to stop taking, change the dose or frequency, or resume/continue taking -- along with all new medications prescribed in the hospital. The only exception would be if they somehow didn't know about this medication, or perhaps if it is a medication that needs to be stopped for an interval during recovery but should be resumed later -- but the discharge paper should tell you to contact such and so MD for followup on that. I'd be looking for a new PCP. I am amazed at the responses from the office staffs of all 3, each passing the buck. (I give the discharge nurse a break, she really wouldn't have the means to know or find out for you now. That instruction needs to come from an MD.) I think going to the stroke center is a good idea, although I wonder if you can get plugged into a new provider for follow-up, having already been through another system (some systems can be odd about that). I'm responding several days late, so I hope you have had good luck with your calls.

I read repeatedly (from blogs, decorators, magazines, etc.) that every room needs something black. I've seen it said that black grounds the room. Whatever. I would have to see the rest of the room before saying yes/no to black. Our rooms have light colored upholstered pieces and med. wood floors. I use aqua/green/blue accents. A black piece just never looks right (to me) in our rooms. In the great room, we have a dark brown leather chair. I have a dark vintage leather case (kind of like a suitcase) on top of a cabinet in the room, a floor-lamp and a table lamp with dark bases. So you get my drift, adding in some dark pieces for contrast, but doesn't have to be black. That's what works for our house, at least. I would wait and decide on a new sofa before painting any of your present pieces. The only thing I see about your present console is it looks a tad country to me and perhaps the rest of the room isn't? By seeing just that wall I can envision a console that is a bit sleeker, yes, maybe darker in color. But I'm not sure as I don't know what the furniture in the room looks like. Great painting!!
