Paint Furniture Design Dilemma

Help with wall color for green/gray furniture

I painted my walls in haste and they are too close to the same as my furniture. I feel like they clash because the furniture has a green/yellow tinge (which i dont like at all but im not up for painting furniture). Any ideas on wall color that would tone down the green undertones and make this furniture look good?

Hi almost done. That furniture piece is beautiful! The thing is designers work in layering a room. To change a wall colour for one piece of furniture is ambitious. I am wondering if your flooring is carpet or the floor itself and I can see in the second image a tile that has peach in it? Not sure but the colour of the walls must take these into consideration along with any other furniture or fixtures or even colours you have going on in this room. Could you please add a photo of the room in its entirety and place this furniture piece where you intend to have it sit in the room. This will help us to provide better advice. Oh! Could you describe what colours are currently in that flooring or carpet and the tile. Thank you.

I don't have pictures, but have suggestions. SW Grassland, Austere Gray (less yellow in it than Grassland) and Comfort Gray ( a little more blue than the others). There's another one-Escape Gray? - in the strip next to Austere Gray that might also work for you. I've used Austere Gray and Comfort Gray and they are very subtle and pretty.

bronwynsmom- I have a question for you. If we decide to use Powell Buff on my bedroom walls, do you think Window Pane could be used successfully on the ceiling? We are thinking about going with the P.B. because we are trending toward a more neutral color for our bedroom and using the Window Pane, Rainwashed, or Sea Salt in our master bath. Our tile flooring in the bathroom is the color along the lines of the colors I have mentioned. Can't go too blue because of that. If you think one of those three would look better as a ceiling color for the bedroom I would appreciate your ideas. Thanks so much for all of your suggestions. I love the sea salt color too. So pretty!

I just painted the walls. I personally LOVE the color/look. I was originally going to paint the wainscoting as well, but I like it how it is. Ended up going with a charcoal sofa and love seat.
