Let’s see a few more pictures of the room. One thing you have to do is wall mount that TV. Rule of thumb, always place the largest piece of furniture first.

Im planning to get a better tv so that’s why I haven’t wall mounted it, but it feels wrong to have the couch blocking off the rest of the room in this scenario

that is some pretty oversized furniture for that space. Do you use the sliding door? also, do you use all the seating with the 2 pieces of furniture?

Your furniture is too big for the space, but furniture is so expensive we will make it work for you. Can you do a room measurement, and draw the floor plan? Does the slider open from the end perpendicular to the short wall?

I am guessing at sizes of furniture but I would try this basic layout. Don’t overlap arms of sofas. I put the bean bag in but a nice guest chair would work there. I wouldn’t mount TV on the wall.

You can still access the slider. Do you have furniture “sliders”. If not Lowes has them. Makes moving furniture a breeze!

Some pieces have to go. Not enough space. Can you remove some of that sectional? If not then you can only properly fit the sectional and possibly a chair. Coffee table wrong size so might sell that one and get a couple C tables.

Something like this. Guessing at sizing. You really need to measure the length of slider and the sizes and depth of sectional.

Each square in these sketches is equal to one square foot. Best to have 3’ in walkways and 24” around furniture at least.

I would center sectional on wall where it is and flank it with end tables and lamps. I would either leave tv where it is and get corner tv stand that can hide all the tv type stuff. Or maybe try the tv on wall to the left of the slider. Everything else except rug must go. Art over sectional, small round coffee table and one chair.

Can the bean bag (round thing) or ottoman go in your master bedroom, or extra bedroom? May give you more maneuvering/arrangement options?

Or even part of the sectional (if it comes apart) in your extra bedroom?

Flo, i think you have the tv at best spot on that wall or left back corner catty maybe? It may can also be viewed from a dining table near the front wall in dining room or even kitchen if catty in that spot. I imagine that sectional is almost 48” deep though? Living room isn’t too awful tiny for an apartment i think, although i agree the two sections of sectional, ottoman and cool round piece (?) is a lot for the space if we want to use the slider.

Oh and coffee table there i see as well. Can your ottoman be used somehow as a coffee table type piece maybe using a large tray on top of it?
