Can Variegated Monstera Gain More Variegation?
Comments (46)Timothy Sorry no variegation there. The color is a little uneven on the leaf.....probably something environmental caused that......but it is not variegated. Variegated sports do show up now and then, not often but sometimes people find them....See MoreHow many hours of LED grow lights for variegated monstera?
Comments (22)It all depends on the conditions in which you keep it. The voltage of the lamp is also important. Usually it should be kept for about 11-12 hours. When I first started doing this, I often encountered various problems. I used weak lamps, which were not enough for the plants to germinate normally. After three months of useless work, my friend said that my lamps are absolutely not suitable for my plants. It was very difficult to find a good lamp, but he advised me to use nextlight mega . It turned out to be a great investment for me. Plants do much better. If someone encounters a similar problem, then I advise you to purchase it. Have a good harvest everyone :)...See MoreSome of my variegated monsteras in FL
Comments (2)There is a big green monstera leaf at the top which belongs to my solid green M deliciosa. This plant (separate from the one above) has a more yellow creamy variegation than my other two. The pattern is otherwise the same. Same plant as above ..there is some mini monsteras Ginny (Rhaphidophora tetrasperma) at bottom left. Gives a good representation of size lol. This one is Starting to climb. I just let them sprawl where they want to. In the past they were in mostly all day sun and they take it surprisingly well. They all get sun part of the day. I think the variegation would be stronger if they got more shade....See MoreMonstera variegated - browning leaf
Comments (7)Photo would help a lot....photo of plant, photo of pot and soil. Was it shipped through the mail? What type of soil do you have it in? Humidity? I always root these in soil, but with humidity up. The soil I use is a very "chunky" mix of potting soil with extra perlite and bark (orchid mix)........when watered it becomes moist but still has a lot of open air space....See MoreSamantha Griffiths
