Engineered Wood Floor Brands - IndusParquet and UA Floors?

We are building in deep south Alabama, slab foundation first floor. Total flooring with waste will be 3425 sq ft, minus wet areas. There will be wood floors in the kitchen, which carries over to the open-concept living room. From our discussions with our builder and flooring supplier, decent site-finished solid wood floors would be cost-prohibitive in today's market, particularly with the additional labor and materials needed to put solid wood floors on a slab. We don't want a wire-brushed floor because of a concern that the grooves will just trap dirt, and unfortunately it seems like every engineered floor option we look at is wire-brushed. After agonizing over the flooring choices, we are considering picking one of two different engineered wood floors that aren't wire-brushed: IndusParquet ("Brazilian Teak" but it's really stained peroba), which has a smooth urethane finish, and UA Floors (Tobacco Hickory), which has a UV cured oil. We'd appreciate any feedback on these brands of floors from those with experience.

We have a dog, teens, and guests, and we aren't prepared to go to a "remove your shoes to enter the house" restriction.
