Can pumpkins just hang over the side?
Comments (10)I'm certain this works with pumpkins because all the pumpkin patches I've ever been to just let 'em go. My only concern would be that they would seem to be more at risk of fungal stuff, but I think the tarp idea might put an end to that risk. Hopefully granny will chime in because she's got more info on that than I ever will. My experience with zucchini last year was that it grows a bit like a spider with sort of shortish branches. For me, trellising zucchini was a complete waste of time. Imagine taking a spider and putting all eight legs on a trellis, not so smart, eh? Maybe I just had a weird variety because Mel has great pics on his site of trellised zucch. I would trellis the squash. IMHO: long, viney plants make a lovely backdrop to the box. They look great and it makes them less likely to pick up fungal stuff....See MoreASAP help needed! Panel ready frig-how to cover side trim?
Comments (19)Thanks all, Circuspeanut- the veneer was just was I was hoping to do. Any ideas how to attach it or make it stick to the trim piece?? Again, my thanks for helping to resolve this. We've now determined that at this point we do need to keep the fridge. Among other things we were having issues with other fridges potentially hitting the handle of the adjacent oven & this one restricts the swing just sufficiently so that should not be an issue. I don't want to trade one problem for another. SO, finding the best solution to covering the black trim is what we've got to do at this point. Thanks again!...See MoreWalk-in closet, narrow? Clothes on just one side? Pictures?
Comments (53)I am so super bummed I found this article! I wish we would have made our one-sided walk-in closet narrower as we ended up with a very small bedroom! We settled on 40" deep after reading this article the closet took valuable space away from the bedroom which is 10' x 11'. I would have done ANYTHING for an extra 5-6" which would have made the room 5' x 11.5" and the closet 36" deep which is plenty for a side-entry walk-in closet. We wanted to do walk in instead of reach in because of the flexibility of the bed configuration and gaining more wall space in the room. But we ended up with a small bedroom and a large closet. Don't make the same mistake we did!...See MoreNeed help decorating walls on both sides of door• UPDATE with after
Comments (3)What I would do is a long console on the bigger wall, around 50 inches, and put one large piece of art over it with a modern lamp and whatever else. On the other side, I’d remove the small console, keep the mirror there, and have plants under it. It would give the entry some life and texture. I don’t know your budget, so these are just examples: Console If you need any storage, you could use a cabinet instead of the above style: Modern plant stand Or Woven plant stands (you could paint the wicker gray, black, or white): BTW: The video was helpful! :)...See MoreP M
