March Madness (lettuce)
Comments (5)Lovely! I planted lettuce seed out a couple of weeks ago - beautiful warm day - then it turned back into winter (29 degrees for several nights and a deluge of rain) and I fear the seeds won't germinate. I am waiting for consistent warmer days and nights to determine if I need to replant. Weird weather for South Carolina....See MoreMarch Madness - Basketball
Comments (8)Luvs, Actually, I did put a lot of advance planning into this one - at least there was advanced planning for the placemats. We put laminate flooring into my daughter's condo almost two years ago, and I saved some of the left over pieces purposely - just to make the placemats. Then, as often is the case, the pieces sat on the garage floor for months and months. I finally got around to using them. It was surprisingly easy once I decided to try and make them. The most expensive items were the salt and peppers. But I just LOVE them! They are bigger than I imagined (which is good for the guys) and quite substantial. The rest of the stuff was just that: stuff. I have lots more ideas, just didn't have enough time to excite them before the party last night. Maybe that's a good thing. I can do another post next year. I was the short order cook all during the game. Marquette lost, so the guests were not happy about that, but everyone enjoyed themselves despite the final score....See MoreRemember my post about Survivor moving to Sunday?
Comments (6)CBS airs both Survivor and Amazing Race. Since Amazing Race has always aired on Sunday, and Survivor has always aired on Thursday, I highly doubt that Survivor would be moved to Sunday unless Amazing Race flops with it and ends up on Thursday. We watch both shows and have never heard that either one is being moved to a new day, other than the announcement two weeks ago that there would not be an episode of Survivor last week and this week it would shown on Wednesday (which is because of the "March Madness" basketball games). And it's too early for Survivor to start talking about when the finale will be shown....See MoreMarch madness
Comments (2)I remember when my girls were in school. We would just get settled down from Christmas and then March would hit with all it's sports, academic, and band award banquets, prom, ballet recitals, summer activity registration, friends/neighbors needing alterations for clothes ....... Seems like it never ended. I could not have made it without my lists. Now that they have both graduated, I find it much easier, just got MIL, DH, and me to worry about. Sometimes I miss those days. beverly...See Morebengz6westmd
