Remember my post about Survivor moving to Sunday?

I know I did see a Survivor preview where the announcer said it would be moving to it's new permanent time slot on Sunday night - HOWEVER...

last night the announcer said that Survivor would be on next Thursday.

So I don't know if that blurb about Sunday night was supposed to be attached to some other show's preview or what the heck, but please check your listings this weekend and next Thursday to make sure you don't miss an episode.

The finale will be on a Sunday. Maybe there was something about that? I missed it.

CBS airs both Survivor and Amazing Race. Since Amazing Race has always aired on Sunday, and Survivor has always aired on Thursday, I highly doubt that Survivor would be moved to Sunday unless Amazing Race flops with it and ends up on Thursday. We watch both shows and have never heard that either one is being moved to a new day, other than the announcement two weeks ago that there would not be an episode of Survivor last week and this week it would shown on Wednesday (which is because of the "March Madness" basketball games).

And it's too early for Survivor to start talking about when the finale will be shown.

Hi Terry, I'm a 3 tour Vet and a river rat, spent all of my time in I-Corps too, from the South Cau Di, near Hoi An to the Cua Viet right on the DMZ. Tuy Hoa is a sleepy little town right on the coast, no tourists, no polution, lots of quiet. We have a long wet season with some flooding but haven't been hit by a typhoon here in 300 years I'm told. When I was here before we weathered 2 up north so I know what you mean. One of those vines would be out of the question LOL...I have 2 Jasmine trees as Bonsai and have found that I have an alergy to them...irony I guess.

Oh, and I agree about rescuing them. She probably wouldn't mind. And I'd ask if I could. Also wanted to add that, instead of calling the "Hoes" upon my demise, I have made a book with all the plant information one could possibly need. All four of our daughters (who are now aged 18-24) are under orders to choose at least three each. In this way, I hope they learn to love gardening as much as I do. Yes, I know they'll end up on GW begging for care information for plants they inherited from their dead mother. Confession: I don't care. Whatever it takes. Gardening IS good for the soul. I truly believe that. I'm not above using guilt to my advantage, even in my death.

Yaoman gave away the truck a few seasons back. I don't really consider it a dumb move. I've read that he didn't actually want the truck because it was a gas guzzler. I think he had figured out that he would have to pay taxes on it so it wasn't worth it to him. The truck was worth the most to him as a great bargaining chip.

I loved last night's show! Russell isn't the only one that has been playing a great game all along. I think Parvati and Sandra have controlled just as many big moves. I don't know why I was worried about whether Sandra brought along the idol or not, because they always lead you on to beleive different from fact. There was no excuse for Colby's behavior with his brother. That was embarrassing! I was surprised at Jerri's choices for the reward, but it did give them a chance to get to know how the others are thinking. She is such a wimpy follower of Russell. Where does she think that will get her. I hope Rupert cleans himself up after this is over. His reaction at the end was dissapointing. I expected better character from him. Who wins, I think is going to depend on whether the jury votes according to personal feelings toward each one, or who "worked" the game to the end. Even then I still think it is between Russell, Parvati, or Sandra. I'd prefer Sandra.

Isn't there another show out there called Survivors, a completely different show? Maybe they were talking about that show? Or maybe it was a change being made on a Canadian station?

Jeff may be talking about the finale on his blog, but CBS isn't going to airing commercials about a show that airs 7 weeks from now, when there are episodes to advertise in the meantime.

True, Lindsey, but the only things that change a TV schedule are natural disasters and wars. It's set, and they aren't advertising it yet, that is true.
