Thanks, all! This is a great start. I hope to start collecting swatches or samples this weekend at the latest. auntjen, that is from the homeshoothome site. They have photos of homes in CA (Pasadena, Altadena, etc) that are available as movie sets. I love the style of so many of the homes. We use CL Industries products-Hydrazzo, Krstylekrete, etc... It's best to see pools in person over photos on the web. The French Gray will cast a darker color as the pool depth changes. It's pretty much inherent of any of the French Grays out there or a similar grays. You can see in that photo the gray is predominant on the sunshelf and notice the color change in the deeper water. It will have a different cast if a portion of the pool is in sunlight or the shade at different times during the day.

To be honest choosing any color from a TV scareen or monitor is not ideal Print the pic of what you are talking about and take that to the paint store that is as close as you will get.
