Comments (12)I think it is a GW problem. At least, GW is the only site where I am having it. I can now enter my password and post using my computer and my iPad, as I am now doing, but I still cannot log in via iPhone. It keeps telling me that I must log in after I enter my user name and password on the iPhone. My updates are current, if that matters. No, no error message appears, no passwords have changed. Comments (19)I have a desktop Windows-based pc, as well as an iPad and iPhone. I can transfer photos from the iPad and iPhone to my computer simply by connecting the iPad and/or iPhone to the computer with a USB cord. Well, to clarify, the end that goes into the iPad and iPhone has a Lightning connector, and the end that connects to the computer has a regular USB connector. Once the device is connected, I get a popup window on my pc saying that a new device has been detected, and asking me what I want to do. I click on the choice to explore files on the device. Then I navigate to the folders with the photos, and do the copy/paste thing (there are several different ways to do that, but you should be familiar with them). I don't do "move" because if anything hiccups (such as a power outage, etc.), I don't want to lose the photos. Once they've been copied to the desired destination, I can delete them from the iPad/iPhone. Easy peasy....See MoreRecs for an iPad/iPhone Crossword Puzzle App
Comments (8)I have the NYTimes app and find it OK. It was updated not too long ago so your issue might have been resolved. I also have another app called just CROSSWORDS. You used to be able to get the NYTimes crossword on it but sadly the NYTimes revoked permission for that. However, you can use the app to solve some other papers' crosswords, as well as puzzles from some independent puzzle makers, even some cryptic crosswords if that's your thing! My favorite is Newsday... the regular weekday puzzles are all very easy but Saturday is a killer! I have an Android phone but I assume it is also available for iPhone....See More- 4 years agolast modified: 4 years ago
