Exterior Design Help

My husband and I recently purchased a 1947 brick home. We are prepping to replace the exterior trim, windows, and siding on the gable ends of our home (garage door eventually) but can't decide on colors/materials. We won't be painting the brick, so the trim colors need to work well with red/orange brick.

I am leaning towards blonde cedar shingles on the gable ends with black trim, gutters and windows. I also would like to add cedar soffit.

- We have considered dark grey trim and siding with black windows.

- We have also considered blond pine siding and soffit paired with black trim and windows.

- We would welcome any advice or ideas.
