Comments (19)Spottythecat, the towel bar is Pottery Barn 24" Mercer in chrome. kelwit, I used bullnose in the niche and Schluter for the shower wall edges. If you use the same shower tile I did, then Schluter, bullnose, or even the factory cut sides of the tile are all decent options. I used the factory cut edge for my bench seat and it doesn't really look too different from the bullnose honestly, plus it allowed me to avoid extra grout lines. Here are some closeups of the Schluter trim, niche, and bench for comparison....See MoreI need some help re-working the master bath please
Comments (3)Looks to me like there is plenty of room for the bed on the right wall, but if you don't like it there, then it looks like there is room to move the door to the master further down that long hallway, incorporate the linen closet into that hallway and add a door to the closet and bath in the hallway. You might consider reworking it anyway though as the long hallway is a real waste of sq ft and it will also make moving furniture in and out harder. I would also consider adding windows on the right wall so you can get some cross ventilation in the MBR....See MoreMaster Bath need help with wall color.
Comments (44)Oops, K, I never considered the cleaning aspect of bevel. I already ordered the beveled Blair Rectangle Mirror, 114-06 above to go with the style of our frosted window in the shower. They have the same grid only the grid in the shower window is white. I wanted the window grid clear but the mfg (Milguard) doesn't carry it. I haven't looked for a medicine cab yet because I want to see how much space I have. Currently, I have a medicine cab with 3 mirrored doors which I love for makeup and seeing the back of my hair. Carolyn, Thanks for the support on the Crisp Linen choice. I am actually starting to get really excited about this project. I live in Santa Rosa, Ca, scene of the Oct. wildfire causing lead time on vanity/cab to be 10-12 weeks. I waited 16 years for this, guess I can wait a little longer. ;-)...See Morestarnold
