Exterior Paint Design Dilemma

white exterior paint - SW snowbound vs Alabaster vs Oyster White

Getting ready to pick exterior paint for our home’s brick/hardy board.

Has anyone used SW snowbound, Alabaster, or Oyster White and could share photos?

We want to integrate black (iron ore) and a more creamy white similar to these homes attached, but can’t figure out what color they used…

Any perspective is helpful! Thanks!

I know this is an older post but if this can help you or someone . . . ..Of the three colors mentioned, Oyster White will give you the look you're after and will look good in bright light and in more dull blue light during winter also. It would look good with Iron Ore and with a more black paint from SW such as Black Magic or Tricorn Black. Alabaster on an exterior can look great but it's much brighter than Oyster White. Snowbound, while one of my personal faves, can have some funny pink undertones at times. As always, test test test! Natural lighting and reflections from trees/ water/ other houses will affect a paint's appearance.

Every room in my entire home is painted in BM Navaho White. I have very large windows and window walls in pretty much every room, and facing every direction. The rooms all read "creamy white" and not yellow but, that said, there is enough yellow in this paint so that the walls don't clash with any of the Mexican Talavera tile we've used in here. The white in Talavera tiles does have a slight yellow cast to it, and it took me a while to find the right White to look white but also work with my tile.

I am looking for 2 tone kitchen cabinet, Thanks a ton for above thread, upper could be PPG Dedicate white and lower equivalent to BM Hale Navy, would you please help to find equivalent of BM's Hale Navy on PPG, I checked Cavalry & Annapolis Blue both are near to that but I am not sure, if those are accurate. Amy Sivley, we had our cabinets painted Snowbound with extra white on all the trim. They look like the same color. Its a very stark white. in certain lights the snowbound has a pink hue & the extra white has a blue hue. way to bright for me but I’m stuck with it we did Pure white on our ceilings & love it. I wish i would have picked something that doesnt blind me when I walk in the kitchen. all our trim throughout the house is bright white & Im trying to pick a white for the walls & having trouble.we did Cedar Key in a few rooms & that looks great but I want to try white.

Chantilly Lace is very bright white for an exterior. Pure white makes get be too. If you have any stone on your house best to post pictures for better comments and start your own thread

I am guessing its Either SW Alabaster or SW Oyster White. They bot go very well with Iron Ore!

I love Snowbound. Have this color in our home. Be careful as some of the whites have alot of grey or yellow in them. So have the paint store look at what colors are added.

Lynn Pruitt, Yes, it’s an old post, but you helped me. I decided to paint the exterior of my house oyster white with Iron Ore trim. I started to think I made a mistake but seeing your post made me feel better. Thanks for posting.
