Backsplash start and end points

Ok so I know this is a common question and I have looked at previous posts but I am still unsure. Our countertops are being installed in a few days and they will take the measurements for backsplash. We are going to having matching quartz solid surface. I am just not sure where to end it on the right and if it should go to the ceiling above the window. There will be crown molding installed above the cabinets. At the moment the wall behind the stove will have porcelain (for heat endurance) to the ceiling and end of cabinets as an accent wall. Same general colors as the white and gray quartz but not the marble look. But I am unsure if the regular backsplash should meet it or if that space should just be painted. Here are pictures for reference. Hopefully this makes sense.
