Well what a great report from you, pitimpinai!! The last I heard you were still very low in energy and still on a ton of medication and little appetite, and listen to you, helping the neighbor till up a lawn! LOL What a nice neighbor you were to plant tomatoes and Dahlias. :-) I am happy to hear that you've also benefited from a shorter work day. Great that you had all that time off saved up. I bet you really needed it to get your energy back. We have gotten pretty much back to what is normal for us here. The weather has been stupendous in the past month! I have never seen the cover crop in the veggie beds so high. We've also gotten all the leaves mowed and collected in bins, ours and three neighbors. [g] We have gotten somewhat cleaned up for the year in the garden, but I keep adding to my list of what I want to get done before the weather turns. Still have a small amount of bulbs to plant and three shrubs to get in the ground, some pots to clean and put away and that will just about do it. I am actually looking forward to a break from the garden. Not that we don't get outside and enjoy it, but it's nice this time of year, to focus on other things. During the gardening season, the garden seems to push out other priorities. [g] I enjoy the winter garden and by the time spring comes, I am just itching to get back to a new growing season. I had extremely low water pressure in my shower for years and it's recently become unbearable. So being the computer geek that I am I did a few google searches which led me to this posting which I found extremely helpful. I removed the cartridge and cleaned all of the mineral deposits from inside the housing, flushed the housing by turning the water back on and then replaced the old cartridge with a new one I purchased at lowe's. I was so excited that after years I was going to have good water pressure again. So I was very dissappointed when I turned the shower back on and it was still barely a trickle out of the shower arm. So off to lowe's I went at 8 at night to buy a 1/4 inch drum auger. I inserted it into the shower arm and it wouldnt make the bend to go down the supply pipe. I removed the shower arm and attempted to insert the auger again, but still no luck. Since it appeared to be an issue with the diameter of the end of the auger being too large, I cut it off with a pair of tin snips. I know that I was ruining the auger, but if it fixed my shower it was only $13. After removing the end and adding some dish soap for lubrication I was able to insert the auger and run it all the way down to the valve. After a few turns of the drum handle I withdrew the auger and tried the water again. This time the water flushed out a bunch of white debris/mineral deposits and I had great water pressure again. I apologize for being long winded, but I never saw this solution posted any where and thought I'd put it out there in case it would be of help to anyone else

BKW-- I had a problem with someone in the bathrooms forum where I did a shower for them and we had some problems. Their so called "expert" told her that I, along with the industry experts at JB's forum had no idea what we were talking about, and that the problem was this and that. Even after I proved to them they were wrong, they still insisted that they were right, and to anyone with any kind of working brain, to see the pics I showed them, you wouldn't even need to know anything about tile to know they were wrong. Even now they refuse to back off their "diagnosis".

Those comforters and the shower curtains are hideous. I can confidently say that if I installed one of them in our home my DH would divorce me. Heck, _I'd_ divorce me. But wait, there's more!
