I wish I could still buy the old type of plastic (or whatever they were) shower door. I have one in a bathroom and it never looks cloudy like my glass one. So much easier to maintain. I'm remodeling a bathroom and I've looked everywhere for the older type but it seems I'm out of luck. I hate glass. Too much work, too heavy, and they are known to shatter. Shower curtains don't really hold in the water. Any new ideas out there?

ambrozia Older style enclosures are still available, however, not common so you might have to go through a contractor or designer to source. On the newer frameless glass styles they can also treat the glass when they manufacture it so that it doesn't accumulate soap residue like the most common untreated frameless glass.
