putting in a drain for a freestanding tub.

Our house is almost 3 years old. We have a large shower with full seat across the back wall. We have an extra vanity which the model had removed and a (dated) garden tub installed in its place. I want a free standing decorator tub in place of the vanity but I didn’t have the drain put in or faucets when we built the house. Will it be costly to add a relaxing tub, keeping the shower separate?

Or is there a way to install a decorator freestanding tub in the shower and tie into that plumbing.

As you can tell, I’m not a plumber.
