Ugh, tile for smallest bathroom ever! Help please!

I’m back to agonizing over my master bath shower and floor tile. For reference, here’s my current master bath. The area where you walk in the bathroom door is 35” wide and the current shower to wall area is 50” wide. It can’t be made bigger, wall mount toilet or vanity is not an option. BTW, all soffits are coming out.

My goal for shower and floor tile is to minimize grout lines (we have softened well water), make the bath look as light and large as possible and not have it look too busy. Shower will be approx 34” x 48” with shower pan, not tile. The plan for both the shower and bath floor was to go with 12 x 24 marble look porcelain tile on shower walls and floor, but I’m not sure I can/should use such a large format tile in such a tiny area. The vanity is gray so I don’t want a gray floor tile.

I need to figure this out in the next couple weeks so I could really use some comments snd shower and wall tile suggestions.
