It photographs a bit green. And we have to change the lightbulbs. We just bought some 'daylight' bulbs' to replace the ones we have. The contractor said that would make the paint look better. The new pendant light has 3 100 watt bulbs so that should brighten things up a bit. The paint is actually Benjamin Moore Antique Pewter. I didn't want to go too light because I was afraid of all the white in the floor and shower and the middle grey cabinets would get lost. It looks better in person. Now the dilemma is the LED Mirrors I wanted. Lowe's just told me they aren't going to be available after weeks of waiting. As you can see from the pictures, I had the contractor put the outlet behind where the mirrors would be. I spoke to him today and he said he could rewire through the outlet hole to the old box for the previous light. But that means I have to buy mirrors AND lights. I wanted to avoid doing that. I'm hoping I can find other affordable LED Mirrors. Lowe's has some that are more expensive, I am going to try to get them for less for my trouble.

Hi, Denise. (a) YES on the pocket door. My husband and I redid our master bath and did a pocket door, I love it. (b) Do you really want your closet open to your bathroom? I have never had that, but seems to me the bathroom would get steamy when you take a shower, then your clothes would get subjected to humidity. although understood if that is your only option. (c) re having a WC or privacy wall - someone made a point about it being difficult to get in there with a wheelchair or a walker... agreed. also: we thought about doing that in ours, opted against it. works fine... because DH uses the hall bathroom when he needs to do his business, ha! I use our bathroom but just lock the door. not sure how well that would work for you. Below is the layout of our bathroom in case it helps. the staggered vanities work well for us, and the shower is a nice size. The thing in the lower right corner is a stacked washer and dryer. you could have it be a linen closet.

The way you have it laid out, the cabinet feels awkward, However, is this to scale? The only way for me to comment on a cabinet or actually, all of the other featurues is a to-scale layout with measurements marked. If in fact this is to-scale, I say "no: to the cabinet. However, you could add storage all along that toilet wall, it would just be shallower than what you are showing. I don't know how much space you have there. Shallow space is often very functional in a bathroom. (rolled towels and toiletries)

If you have hard water your soap or bath bomb or even just your water , or your water plus your exfoliated skin cells will leave that ring. You can get a an OXO extendable tub and tile scrubber. Or, the modern version and let electrical power do the work and get an extendable cordless chargeable multihead spin scrubber. Amazon sells so many versions. First fill the tub with hot water and throw in Oxi-Clean and let that sit there . Then use the power scrubber. You might change your soap. I have found that liquid (glycerine based) soaps leave less "soap scum" than bar soaps. Or take your showers. The power scrubber works very nicely on tile, too. Just be careful to not go overboard on the grout. Remember when you were learning to brush your teeth and your mom said "You are not scrubbing the floor!"
