I have a major dilemma - I am refreshing my kitchen - walnut kitchen - removed old island and added a few 10 by 5 foot island with built in seating..... you can see my kitchen eating area right from the front door and it flows into the family room too. The mantle in the room is white and the tile is a black and white marble I did last spring.

I have 2 pendants over my island - not centered BUT over the prep area the island so not BAD... and based on trusses cannot move, 1 over sink and then a chandelier also not centered but this one I can swag or move 11 inches to make it centered.

So I am looking for 3 pendant lights all the same for over sink/prep area of island likely glass so you can see through them and a complimentary chandelier over the eating area. Cavet - pendants cannot be larger than 10 inches wide - can be tall OR to I replace the 2 pendants over my island with recessed lighting since they are not centered?

Chandelier should be 24 inches wide since the eating area is 4.8 feet long by 4.1 feet wide

I also need chairs around my island (eating area) 4 of them.

Ok so perimeter cabinets are called cognac a little lighter than walnut, my island is stone my benjamin moore a grey, the countertops are coming in 3 weeks, they are called calacatta tuscany. It is going to waterfall that transition part from counter height to table height but be open on the end to add more seats if necessary.

Backsplash will be done by me too not sure yet but likely a grey subway in a herringbone pattern to tie the grey to the brown or marble in greys... unsure.
