Can You Help Me Find 2 Things?
Comments (8)Instead of limiting yourself to a colored laptop, you could just buy a skin. They come in all kinds of designs and they just stick on and peel off when you want to. I just ordered some for my kindle and iPhone that match. I love the one for my Kindle because it keeps it from slipping out of my hands. I bought them from DecalGirl but lots of places on the web sell them. I thought it would be a great idea for travelers to put the skin on their laptop so they don't get mixed up with someone elses when they put them on the conveyer belt at the airport. Comments (17)jdayo, I'm not saying I disagree with your assessment of the flooring you found but.... I proudly picked out the identical flooring that is resting on the side of the cabinet for my first house that we built in 1984. LOVED IT!!! (for about 5 years and then it yellowed and peeled and ...) I think that's the hardest part about picking out stuff for this kitchen redo. I'm thinking of spending a boat-load of money. What of the stuff I'm picking out now is the equivalent of that old vinyl????? I just get paralyzed sometimes envisioning someone coming into my house in 2020 and saying "What in the heck was this person THINKING????" - even worse when I'm the one walking into my kitchen saying "What chemicals were you into in 2009?"!...See MoreCan you find it! Comments (55)Gardengal: I'll admit my words included a bit of exaggeration, but monopoly is as monopoly does. Is Amazon there yet: do they want to crush their competitors (bad), or just keep doing better than the competition (good)? So far personally I think they are mostly on the "good" side, but things change so I'm not guaranteeing my support forever. Angela & others: A company can outsource execution of something (a component of a product, or delivery to customer's door) but that doesn't absolve them of responsibility for keeping their word. When I one-click, I expect the product to show up as Amazon promised -- correct product, good shape, on time. If it doesn't, I'm mad. What I like about Amazon is they DO take responsibility by offering refunds, etc if something went wrong in the delivery chain, all the way to me. I'm aware of efforts they are trying to deal with porch pirates -- lock boxes, that weird service where they get to enter your home -- but personally I haven't needed that yet. So overall I'm still a fan. Ten, 20 years from now? Who knows....See Moreplllog
