Love the art where it is on the wall - but the plant in the corner feels "off" to me.

They look off with the console table below, but perfect when it's removed.

And I'd try the tree someplace else. Let the art and wainscotting be the stars.

The art is great for a DIFFERENT space. Aside from the fact it feels very COOL in a nice "warm" dining space, it is a bit large, and a slightly smaller threesome, or one larger and warmer piece? Would be a lot better. Sorry to disagree, really. : ) But that is immediately what I see. The table is too small, and out with the plant as well. You needn't fill every corner. Not for color below......

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I should have noted we plan to paint the walls more of a neutral white and eventually replace the chandelier. We are going for a slightly younger, fresher look in the dining room.

PS........ reduce the distance in the hang /separation of those to the same as bottom of picture to wainscoting. Get them closer together : ) They're too far apart.

Nice art, but two of them is too much:) ! Too strong of a statement! One of those and one or two lamps would be nice over the console. Also, get a larger leafed "tree" for the corner, like a bird of paradise or banana leaf and taller, I like the green in the corner if you just have one art piece.

Since you are painting a neutral white, you will need to revisit those art pieces. They might not work.

If you love the artwork, use it to inform the rest of the room. Choose an paint color that matches the white in them, and add gold touches to continue the metal from the frames. Gold light fixture, for example.

And the height is fine.

It is what it is IMO the only other choice would be something like this which IMO works in a more traditional space . I do agree the buffet does not work with that art and I can’t see the rest of the space but I like th art.

When painted lighter, the wall will feel larger/less broken up and better compliment these large pieces (I don’t think they are too high). They are great additions and will be a lovely focal point.

If after room is painted and you still think they seem too high, a substantial console underneath will help to balance.
