Not a pro but I thought I'd give my two cents, but I think with the door and woodwork, the choices look too warm. I feel a dark floor works the best, the one you have looks better than the choices in my opinion .

With real solid wood the species is important in your decision. White oak or walnut would work. What wood are your doors and trim? Knotty Alder just sealed?

Thanks for your comments, Abby and Flo. I was wondering if I need to choose a grey-toned floor, my samples do seem too warm for the door stain. Our interior trim and doors are Douglas fir and the flooring samples are all oak.

I like the second from the left. I am not a fan of dark floors.

If you go oak, get white oak. Less yellow over time.

I like this look.

The gray stain on the doors/trim is pink (when shown against the new options). The darker floors throw more GRAY into the air = the doors look grayer than they actually are.

As soon as you take away the dark gray, you will notice how pink your doors actually are. I'm sorry but the best way to get this to work is to REVERSE the colour scheme. That means dark(er) doors with LIGHTER floors.
