Re-designing kitchen - need help with floor and backsplash
Comments (14)Molding is as style specific as the dimensional cutting of your doors. Your door is modern and finding complimentary molding unless it comes as part of the design elements matching your door is challenging without overwhelming the minimalist esthetic you want to accomplish. Post some pictures so we can compare them. You can skip the frig panels if you're going stainless and aren't choosing an integrated frig where it's completely hidden within the cabinetry. A base panel may be necessary for an exposed base cabinet box side at the end of a run. Same for the wall panel and a wall cabinet. But a plain matching veneered panel may be an option. You have to think about what will get the minimalist look you want and ask them to make it that way....See MoreNeed design help for porch/kitchen/living room re-do
Comments (3)maybe a better question would be: what design "styles" does this 'vanilla' house lend it self toward? If we stain the porch wood, we're craftsman which seems to not fit, right? man, i thought we had an idea of style, but this choice has thrown everything for a loop....See MoreHelp! Design Challenge! Comments (5)HI -- Nice house ....You will need a Landscape Designer . There will have to be a taller better retaining wall to level out the front area on the left side . I would have a large walled ( can be wood fencing and lattice ) courtyard entrance coming out further forward than the garages and wider to the left . This will take the first focus off the garage doors . A separate walkway to the entrance apart from the driveway . Then wall foundation mass plantings and a small grove of wispy trees for dappled shade that will not block the view of the front of the house . Courtyard wall height of about 36 to 42 inches high on the front and possibly higher on the left side if you want more privacy. Paved/ tiled in the courtyard and maybe a water feature and plantings or plant pots and seating furniture . I think this would give you lots of use and be very attractive addition to the house .
