olychick, thank you for taking a look. :) I'm relieved to hear you think a white shower pan is best. I am heading out now to find porcelain marble look tiles for the shower walls to pick up the gray as you suggested. I want a shiny finish to the walls. Tell me if you think that's a misstep. I am avoiding marble as I have a marble topped vanity now that is pock marked with etchings. As far as seeing myself in the vanity, yes, I think I will be able to do so. I was planning on a black framed mirror spanning the vanity. My current vanity is 32 1/4" high (as will be the new vanity) and when seated on my vanity stool my reflection is seen up to my chest. The only issue currently is that my knees are pressed against drawers. I failed to mention that I was thinking of using absolute black granite for the vanity top for two reasons: one being cost and the other being to avoid etching. Will doing so deviate too much from my inspiration? I remember in my first house, I made a recessed closed niche all along the vanity between the faucet and the mirror. I found it really useful, I just wish I could find a better option than sliding doors to access the inside. I don't know, if 30 years later there would be a better option ... maybe you can make that recessed space higher than the faucet and have a pressure button latch that is hidden at the back of the door (sorry, I am missing some english vocabulary, hopefully you understand what I mean).

I have seen many sconces that match with single, double, and triple lights--same style, just single or multiple bulbs with a double (or triple) branch. Looking at your electrical box placements, though, for both vanities, it looks like you could use the same mirror for consistency but use up the extra wall space on the larger vanity by installing coordinating lighting with double-branch or wider sconces. I assume the larger vanity is for a person applying makeup and styling hair, so it would be nice to have extra lighting. I'm NOT a designer, so perhaps I'm off-base. You mentioned oil-rubbed bronze faucet/fixtures, yet I see brushed stainless cabinet hardware. Those look new. Will the mirrors have a metal frame or any metal hardware--what finish? Keep that in mind when selecting your mirror's and lighting's metal finish(es)--ORB or brushed stainless? Restoration Hardware offers a lot of single and double sconces in multiple finishes. Some look the same but are wider or more narrow, which might work for your bathroom. I would, perhaps, consider sticking to brushed silver-toned faucets/towel rings since you have that on the hardware, already, and it would be easier finding a mirror to match. But, I know it's common to mix metals, so you should do what you like. (I'm doing all chrome in my Master Bath and chrome fixtures with aged brass lights and brass-colored cabinet hardware in my hall/kids' bath that has a navy vanity.) It's hard to be sure from the angle of the photo, but it looks like the sinks are centered above the double doors of the cabinets. (It also looks to me like the plumbing holes are NOT centered on that - hopefully that's just the photo. I would put your plumbing fixtures there, disconnected if necessary, just for visual reference as you plan. I think the two pictures above are appealing but the second one has walls on both sides; not sure how that would translate in your space where you have one open side. If you can do without the tower storage, consider removing it (and the backsplash), add two tall mirrors over the sinks that are the width of the base cabinet doors. Then add a feature tile backsplash and use 3 eye-catching sconces, one in the center and one on each side of the mirrors. Hopefully that might draw attention away from the sink placement. Good luck!
