Exterior paint color help - trying to keep the red brick portion
Comments (18)I like the colour scheme you have. Perhaps the grey siding could be a tad darker. I would look into cleaning the white spalling on the brick, redoing the landscaping, and add a roof or shelter over your front door. It's a pretty house that just needs a bit of tweaking. Also, when the time comes to replace the shingles, go for black or very dark charcoal....See MoreUpdating exterior paint colors with orange/red brick
Comments (7)The windows are not right for the shutters. I would remove them. Paint the trim a light tan. It really looks good with the color of your brick....See MoreExterior Design & Color Help (2-storey Half Brick - Half Siding)
Comments (8)Ha, ha. Aluminum siding really is wonderful. The only reason we painted ours was because it was a horrible color, that fake redwood color. So very dated even 20 years ago. You should probably power wash the siding. Once the shutters are down, I'm sure their prior location will be noticeable since it will have no dirt underneath except for those bugs who have built their home there over the years (at least ours did). We were told that the only reason to replace aluminum siding was if the wood underneath was rotten due to water damage. If you don't have any leaking from your gutters, you are probably okay. If you ever do replace it, take it to a scrap yard for $$....See Moreexterior paint ideas for red brick
Comments (12)You’ve probably done this, but if not, search things like ’red brick trim colors’ … ’red brick ranch house trim colors’ … ’red brick color schemes’ … etc. Lots of inspiration! Great house, new colors will really transform it. Glad you’re keeping the brick as is. :) A few sites out of many: https://thecolorconcierge.com/best-exterior-paint-colors-red-brick-homes/ https://www.davinciroofscapes.com/blog/fresh-red-brick-exterior-color-schemes/ https://www.brickandbatten.com/red-brick-house-updates/ Greens or grays with creams: Darker: So many possibilities! Of course not all colors go with all brick tones, so you’ll have to do some samples. Good luck!...See More
