Guess what I bought? Guess, Guess
Comments (15)Thanks everyone! I already have 5 in the ground and they are getting really big, but they are regular white and the fundzui- the one that blooms all sumer, by the way, he had that too. I really wanted an evergreen bush to provide a little privacy onn my driveway, which is stoned, but is visible to the street. When I saw this red sweet olive, or what most people call tea olive, I thought it would be nice to use that, it is evergreen, and I can move it if I want. So, as it grows, it will be my privacy shrub. (I really should get something else too, the drive is wide). Lou, I totally hear you on taking your shrubs with you, I would do the same thing! The grower hasn't seen it bloom yet. They have a big one,and they grow them from cuttings, but their red hasn't bloomed yet. So, the challenge will be to see when it blooms. it may take a while, but I will wait. The white bloom young, you never know, I may get lucky and it may bloom next year. You never know.... I will post a pic here, you can count on that....See Morewhere to buy the 'guts' (motor, I guess?) of an island hood vent?
Comments (8)i also got a fantech for my wall hood which my GC is going to make custom for me. You can get many options for power by going this route. For an island, you should try to go for higher cfms. They sell fantech at many online stores, including amazon. if i recall, i think got mine either at homeperfect.com or ventingdirect.com which had the best price on my particular model. i also got a silencer to go with the motor to make it quieter....See Moreguess where I am going for the next four evenings
Comments (7)UGH! that sounds like it gets loud and outta hand. Speaking of which, we were privy to a "live" cop show. My workmate got there before I did and she said the officer standing there with her and she heard, crunch, crunch, crunch... cars bopping into each other at a light. By the time I got there, he was finishing up going through the biggest cause of the problem's purse (likely drunk driver, considering she was really wobbly) and only her car left. They moved her car into one of our lots and then conducted a field sobriety test and wrote reports for a couple of hours. I can't imagine how the call must've sounded going over the radio, but it must've been "multi-vehicle accident" because shortly after I got there a hook and ladder truck, a regular fire truck, and an ambulance, all fought through the rush hour traffic, clogged with CMA goers, to get to the scene. oy, it was a mess....See MoreCan anyone guess where I can find these wall sconces?
