Suzy, I know exactly what went "wrong" on your embedding attempt. When you go to Photobucket, you have three coding formats to choose from for copying and pasting. You chose the one that began 'img src=...' and not 'http://...' In choosing the former and putting it into an 'a href=...' command, you created a hybrid command that both showed the image and highlighted the text. To embed that photo of that beautiful gown into your sentence, you should have typed: Here's the gown I made my newest g'daughter for her christening, so you could say (a href="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q8/calliope07/anniegown.jpg")I sew(/a). Your drain pipe doesn't go below the wall, it goes behind it. This is why you're able to use flexible 4" ABS plastic. Think about the movement of the water - that pipe behind the wall exists as a pressure relief valve, so that if water builds up behind the wall it can be diverted out the face of the wall before the wall is forced over. If you put the pipe below the wall, where will that water go? If it's going in or around the footer, your wall will fail. Look up Anchor retaining walls online and look at their installation details. Even though theirs is a manmade product, the principles of the drainage areas are the same. An 18" garden wall is no big deal. You're talking about a four or even five foot wall? That's nothing to screw around with, especially since the goal is serious water diversion from a basement that's already had water intrusion issues. I can't recommend strongly enough the involvement of a professional.

I've already posted the coral fabric a couple of days ago; see above. It won't look any different with the fringe applied. I cannot believe no one has commented on my white (but not antique white) windows (or mantel). I have to paint those still. I've been waiting to paint them until I removed the old drapery rod. Now I can do it. Good news today: Calico Corners extended its 25% off fabric sale through 1/26, so I have time to wait for my samples to arrive before committing to the RL Foxberry plaid. I would get it somewhere else and feel less pressured, but CC's price is more than $20 less than even places in fabric row here in the city because I've been told that CC has special RL pricing (on top of which I can get the 25% off). I ordered a bunch of memos of the discontinued fabric from Robert Allen today. They have to be sent from SC, so it'll probably take a few business days.

Great choices! The arrangement will simply have to wait until the furniture is in the space -- and can be judged for size and location. Consider adding darker tables and oil-rubbed bronze lamps -- which would be nice with those rich spicy colors. Perhaps add a dark-framed round mirror above the pretty fireplace?
