You've captured some great attitude on those pictures Marda! It's as charming as those shots as well, having seen some of it myself. I never did learn how to embed pics in the text, and always meant to sit down and figure it out or I'd volunteer to do the same thing with my little world here. I am not going to torture anyone with posting a gazillion threads with one picture each. LOL. But, I'd love to see other collages. Anyone else game?

Marda, you have a wonderful lane for walking. Seeing sheep and the 2 finely housed horses would be a great incentive for me...and I particularly like the long woodsy stretch.
Love the little shed/greenhouse, too.

And, Suzy, I've rarely heard you admit not being able to learn or do something you set your mind to. But even with separate posts I for one would love seeing your area. josh

It's easy to do,but you need an online storage place for your photos...at least I'm pretty sure you do.
Here is the HTML code for it. Just use where I use ( ) .

1. In the first set of brackets you have a href= and then the link to your photo.

2. then you put the words you want to use for the link..like barn,flowers,kids etc.

3. and in the last set of brackets,you just put (/a) which turns everything off again so you can continue on.

Michelle showed me how to do it and it takes a little while to get used to it but once you do it's easy. you just have to be meticulous with the code.

Beautiful walk. I like all the pics and even/especially the one at the end. Always on the lookout for parts sources for my truck.

Thank you Marda. It is nice to see other surroundings. Love the blue house and I personally love junkyards. My mom used to take me when she needed parts for her old '65 mustang and my imagination always ran/runs wild regarding the history of the old cars. DH was surprised to learn I like junkyards, his ex used to sit in the car and wait while I prefer to go and imagine. : )

Ok, now I'm inspired. I'll try to walk you through some activities of my daily life. I'll try to embed them, so sorry if this doesn't work but we'll give it a shot. Just some simple scenes of a typical day.

Here's the gown I made my newest g'daughter for her christening, so you could say {{gwi:135407}}I sew.

Here is Salt mine # 4, one of the g'houses in which I ply my trade, so you could say {{gwi:135409}}I grow . Here is my basil bed near the main garden. Notice the old fashioned cultivator, so I guess you could say {{gwi:135435}}I bend low .

These are some examples of a spud crop I grew a few years ago in that garden. That egg is a jumbo! Yes, {{gwi:135436}} I Hoe, hoe, hoe .

Oh. Suzy, it was worth risking your good will to jolt you into learning to post such great pictures..I knew you could do it and I love everything but especially love that gorgeous rooster! Talk about a bad hair day! LOL

The christening gown is so sweet...and enjoyed the glimpse of the filled jars of produce from your canning....what a picture...it could have been taken 100 years ago with that background.

And you have 4 greenhouses and do it all yourself...unbelievable! everything looks so well cared for...from the greenhouse plants to the basil bed..just don't know how you do it all but I'm so glad you are sharing pictures...josh

So many wonderful pictures! Jan,I can't imagine opening a gate and then driving down a beautiful road like that. It looks like you entering a beautiful park. You must love going in and out.

Suzy,your place is so busy and having been there it would take page after page of photos to really get a feel of all that you have there.It's total paradise with your chickens,gazebo,waterfall and little brook,fruit trees and on and on...and that's just the outside.

Suzy, I know exactly what went "wrong" on your embedding attempt. When you go to Photobucket, you have three coding formats to choose from for copying and pasting. You chose the one that began 'img src=...' and not 'http://...' In choosing the former and putting it into an 'a href=...' command, you created a hybrid command that both showed the image and highlighted the text.

To embed that photo of that beautiful gown into your sentence, you should have typed:

Here's the gown I made my newest g'daughter for her christening, so you could say (a href="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q8/calliope07/anniegown.jpg";)I sew(/a).

[Note: "(" should really be "".]

With the correct punctuation, the sentence displays like this:

Whoopie! It worked. I didn't mean to actually embed the picture, but meant to just embed the links and I figured out post haste what I did wrong. I agree with Marda, when I saw Jan's picture, I thought it looked like entering a park.

My daughter helps me with the g'houses now because the dh has his own hands full taking care of the gardens, he is disabled but calls the JD his "legs". He even rides it to the mailbox down our little lane. DD has a landscaping business and uses this as home base.....she is there for me in all aspects of my life and makes my busy work a joy.

Thanks guys for making me try this and it was easy. LOLOL. Now, somebody else needs to pick up the ball and keep it rolling.
