Comments (11)Good old crosswords - I love the USA Today puzzles. In my airline days, I came by them readily since hotels routinely give out this newspaper. Now I rarely see them. Of course, they are available on the internet, but I'm not in the habit of obtaining them in that manner. I can do the New York Times crossword until Thursday, when it becomes too difficult. My mother, who has been doing them for fifty years, does the Sunday crossword as easily as I would write out a shopping list. (For those not familiar, the NYT puzzle becomes increasingly difficult as the week progresses; the Sunday puzzle is much larger and notoriously challenging.)...See MoreLINKS to our word games ...

Comments (25)I play Wordle every morning and share results with two of my best friends. Time means nothing to us. Take your time. One of us uses the same starting word every day so she cannot post her results until the rest of us have posted ours since her results reveal spoilers. One day I got it first word. It surprised me more than anything. Since that high point I have gone 6 and out a couple of times.
