come on my walk.
Comments (15)Ladies, I have been remiss about visiting this page and clearly I have been missing out! Your worlds are all beautiful... and very different from my own. Thank you for sharing them. Suzy, I know exactly what went "wrong" on your embedding attempt. When you go to Photobucket, you have three coding formats to choose from for copying and pasting. You chose the one that began 'img src=...' and not 'http://...' In choosing the former and putting it into an 'a href=...' command, you created a hybrid command that both showed the image and highlighted the text. To embed that photo of that beautiful gown into your sentence, you should have typed: Here's the gown I made my newest g'daughter for her christening, so you could say (a href="http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q8/calliope07/anniegown.jpg")I sew(/a). [Note: "(" should really be "".] With the correct punctuation, the sentence displays like this: Here's the gown I made my newest g'daughter for her christening, so you could say . I hope this little didactic tangent is helpful. I really love the images in this thread and want to make it easy for you to post more!...See MoreLet 2012 be a year of peace, love and flowers
Comments (14)I gave a number of containers away at our seasonal campground last year, instructing folks on where/how to plant and what to look for (so they do not mow them over in the spring). People thought I was a bit off when I walked up with plants, but I just kept saying, "Spread the love, baby!" The smiles were priceless; the kids LOVED it. I now have a small batch of folks looking forward to new plants this year. I also did a handful of containers this year so I can do some guerilla gardening and beautify a few traffic islands I know need help. DH calls it FacePlant. I'm from MA. Bill Belichick, coach of the NE Patriots, had an interview recently where he was asked about social media. His response- "I don't Twitter, I don't MyFace, I don't Yearbook." None for me, too, thank you. My skeleton is named Boney Bob, from Wolfman Mac's Chiller Drive In. :)...See MoreThought I would share some pictures of my bitter sweet vacation.
Comments (26)I'm sorry for the loss of your mom. I lost mine the day after Thanksgiving (alzheimer's -- the cousin of ALS) and my dad at the end of April I know my mom would not have wanted to keep me from a trip. In fact, she waited until I left her room. My dad also passed after I went home to get a little sleep and before I could get back. One of the hospice nurses told me that happens in a majority of cases. They may not want you to witness their last breath. Your photos are beautiful and it looks like a wonderful way to reconnect with life, reflect and recharge. I hope you felt your mom's presence and her blessings while you were there. I know she was in your heart. The memorial service sounds perfect for her, you and your sister....See MoreTried some Sketchers Go-Walks
Comments (12)You are very welcome when I find a comfortable shoe I like to share! I only tried on the ones I bought which were the black and pink and they ran very true to size for me. Certain colors do come in wide widths so check that you have the correct size. What happened to me was I found the size I wanted tried one shoe on and said ok and put the box in my basket. Checked out went home only to find I had 2 different size shoes!! We had to drive all the way back and the manager was furious she said the person that checked us out was supposed to open the box and check the sizes, I said she never touched the box just scanned it and put it in a sack. She was immediately looking at my time stamp on my receipt to find out who it was. I think she probably got a serious talking to. But luckily there was another box with the other 2 different sized shoes so I got my correct size, but in that process I tried on a size smaller and a half size smaller and those felt as they should have in that color also. The fabrics on them are different so that may be part of the issue some of the fabric may be more stretchy. There were even some at Academy that looked like leather I don't know it they were real or fake I did not pay much attention. I knew the minute I saw that black and pink it was going to be mine lol. They do have a Go walk recovery that is exactly this shoe but the fabric is a mesh that lets air flow through so would be very good for the summer. Go Recovery...See Morebuddyrose
