Thanks for the information. I was thinking about ordering a pair but I take a 9 1/2 or 10 depending on the shoes and really think it would be better to try them on first.

I went to our Sears in town to try on these Go-Walks and they did feel very comfortable, very light too, but my size is a 7-1/2 and their 7-1/2 felt like an 8 to an 8-1/2. So, yes, their sizing is quite different. I didn't buy any because I didn't like the colors so I thought about ordering online but now I'm concerned about getting the wrong size. I'd like to try on before buying.

I only tried on the ones I bought which were the black and pink and they ran very true to size for me. Certain colors do come in wide widths so check that you have the correct size. What happened to me was I found the size I wanted tried one shoe on and said ok and put the box in my basket. Checked out went home only to find I had 2 different size shoes!! We had to drive all the way back and the manager was furious she said the person that checked us out was supposed to open the box and check the sizes, I said she never touched the box just scanned it and put it in a sack. She was immediately looking at my time stamp on my receipt to find out who it was. I think she probably got a serious talking to. But luckily there was another box with the other 2 different sized shoes so I got my correct size, but in that process I tried on a size smaller and a half size smaller and those felt as they should have in that color also. The fabrics on them are different so that may be part of the issue some of the fabric may be more stretchy. There were even some at Academy that looked like leather I don't know it they were real or fake I did not pay much attention. I knew the minute I saw that black and pink it was going to be mine lol.

They do have a Go walk recovery that is exactly this shoe but the fabric is a mesh that lets air flow through so would be very good for the summer.

Maybe these will be the shoe for me so I've been following the Sketchers Go-Walk threads. For the past several years I haven't worn anything but crocs because my feet hurt in anything else.

I read on the reviews that they tend to be more of a flat shoe, another plus for me. Anything with a high arch really make my feet ache. The last few times I tried buying the regular reeboks I've always worn, I've had to dig out the built in sole support. It was always impossible to get just the right feel, until finally I realized I could no longer wear that type of shoe.

Although I don't see them in a W, I wonder how well the Go Recovery's would hold up with daily wetness. I work in a greenhouse. Crocs are good in that sense.

Finding the right shoe would be nice. I wear a 5 1/2 or 6 wide. Short and fat. :)

I've been reading reviews on these shoes and their sizing is apparently wonky....shoes of the same size are different sizes, some too small, some too big, some just right - just like the 3 Bears LOL. So I guess you have to try them on and find a pair that fits just right. I've ordered a pair and only hope they fit -but this company does have free returns which is one reason I ordered from them.

I have found that even if you take 5 pairs of the identical shoe that the fit often varies from shoe to shoe. Some will fit, others won't - or somewhere in between. I have seen people try on one colour of shoe and then tell the sales associate to wrap up the same shoe in several colours without trying them on. Bad mistake. Often a company has different plants, in different countries - or like a car - made on a Wed. Crocs were a good example - I longer buy them. I am a size 9 (seems as if everyone is these days) but in some makes I am a 9 1/2 and in some styles a 10. I have a high arch which often causes problems with the ball of my foot. If the shoe is French, I need a bigger size and I can't wear a Spanish last. If the toe is pointy I might need a 10 - all depends on the brand. With boots I generally buy a size 10 - when they will go over my calves. I only buy directly from a store - forget on-line in Canada - not to mention the size issue - same with clothing - I am a really hard fit.

I tried on the GoWalk yesterday and also tried on the GoRun. The GoRun were more comfortable. They lace up and since I have a narrow foot that would be better for me. There were 3 different kinds of GoRun at that store and one was more comfortable than the other 2. I didn't buy them because I didn't like the color. If I can't find a better color locally I will order some.

Yes, I never buy a shoe without trying them on first.

moonie the soles of these are made of the same material as crocs,which is why they are so light.
They do have lace up go walks too, in fact the pair I want next is the go walk baby which is a lace up.

If you like Teds check out the sketchers Bobs, they look very similar but have the same light weight soles.

oh and as to washability yes they can go in the washing machine in cold with mild soap then let air dry don't put in dryer. There's a card in the box with that info.

Thanks so much for bringing this up, ravencajun! I had never heard of these, but my feet are getting increasingly hard to fit and I do a lot of walking and have to have a comfortable shoe. I have lots of shoes (all flats) which are great for parties or going out for dinner, but I need some shoes for every day walking, shopping, etc. I have some excellent New Balance walking shoes for fitness walking and the gym, but I walk a lot in real life. These Skechers go walks are awesome! I went to the outlet mall this AM and got 2 pair...one for $55 and the other 1/2 off $39. Not exactly outlet prices, but these are great! I wear a 6W ( my husband calls me Square Feet), but the regular 6s fit fine...they're very stretchy. Many, many thanks for leading me to these shoes!

I wore mine to my doctor appointment and I think everyone in the office is going to be wearing them including my doctor, she noticed them first.
When I was buying mine a lady came over to me and said she stands all day long at her job and those shoes were her salvation. She said she has several pair.
I am going to show them to my hairdresser, her feet and ankles look horrible, and she is on her feet for very long days.
