Comments (4)Yes, we just got the floors refinished and they are very slick with socks. I am afraid someone will fall. Also, I have 3 pets who run around so I want to protect the hardwood....See MoreHow many runners should we use for our hallway?
Comments (5)Once everything is updated, you may opt not to add a runner, so other elements like floor, art or furniture stand out (and for a sleeker, modern look). If you decide you want one, I’d cut kraft paper and test different dimensions and have a custom runner(s) made. https://shop.wellwoven.com/collections/custom-size-runners/products/well-woven-julita-custom-size-runner-medallion-oriental-blue-36-inch-width-x-choose-your-length-hallway-runner-rug?variant=37231866183841&epik=dj0yJnU9NXhJZnNaYzRXMmZ0MkxqMzA3cVR0OVpCc2drYm80c20mcD0wJm49V2dIUU1lTHNTY1RTbl84eWs2ZG5vdyZ0PUFBQUFBR0czanF3&utm_source=pinterest&utm_medium=social...See MoreHallway runner length dilemma
Comments (16)If you are wanting something that is less of an investment piece, look at this one. DD has this rug in a larger size in her hearth room. Although she has a couple of beautiful persian rugs in the house, she wanted something that would not be damaged by small children being small children (art projects, clandestine food and drink, etc). It has taken a load of abuse from 3 small children and one large dog and it still looks nice. It is thin and needs a good pad under it to help it look decent. The fringe is short enough that the roomba doesn’t get stuck on it....See MoreRelated Professionals
