We have a ranch house with a long hallway leading to the bedrooms. I think its about 20+ feet long. I can;t find a runner the right size or somethign that doesn't look dumb.

I thought about piecing runners together. Purchase 2 in block style thinking they would look ok putting together. But those together are only 12'. Still looks like its funny.

Should I do 3. One reason for the runners is that we have a lab who likes to run down the hall and I am trying to preserve it.

I thought about piecing it together with carpet tape on the bottom and then the pad/floor protector on the bottom to stop from sliding..

would this work.. if not.. HELP!!! what else is there?

This hall is off the entry hall to the left (see pic)

Also - what kink of rug should I use in the entry. Right now I just have a rug at the door to wipe feet.

The floor has been finished since October.. I need rugs...
