Well gosh the accent lights there sure tell us it needs to be special :) what do you need? Should those lights be there?

I was thinking of doing acrylic shelves but wondering if there are any other ideas out there.

Add a artificial green wall, it is an amazing an feature to add a pop of color to any empty space.

Open bench so no rerouting of the vent. Open legs, padded top with pillows for sitting or laying to read. Do you have children? Could use that area for a place for toys with shelves, and toy storage. OR put shelves in for books and collector items. Book shelves could be open on bottom for vent,
