Can I put windows with grilles in only one part of house?

I am doing a conversion of a 2 flat to a single family home. I love the look of windows with grilles and really really want them; however, they are not historically accurate for my house, and I'm not sure if they would look ok. It was built around 1910, and I believe double hung windows with no grilles would've been used. All that aside, would it be very strange and too disjointed if I used windows with grilles in the back of my house on the first floor (open concept--kitchen, dinette, family room). I would like to do less grilles--2x3 probably. This way I could keep the historic integrity of the front but still get to use grilles in at least one part of the house. This is the style of my house for reference.2 flat Chicago
