Help! I'm feel like I'm going crazy...long
Comments (55)Ladies may I join you in this discussion? I am a young healthy looking 62. And today is my first visit here after looking up adrenaline I sure understand better now That's what I have going on MY NATURE'S PACE MAKER.working. Adrenaline After a stay in icu heart recently everyone finally agreed i am mot crazy.it was.my heart. The docs installed is a device catch my heart acting badly is a heart tracker like halter monitor. Under my chest muscles on top of my heart. I can cause it record what just happened.. iam write with excitment because your stories are all so familiar. These stories for me begin after mitral valve repair. 7 years ago. Basic problem ..unless the doc sees the heart behaving badly they deny the problem. All this time we never could catch it Last doc said bluntly if we dont see it didnt happen. You must to er Well recent at 230 am it woke me up, just as you have described. I went directly to the er They caught the serious thing! Arrithemia and more then two days in icu. Now meds have slowed my heart from 70 to 52 while docs decide what to do. Last night I realized I was having an adreilin rush. The same rush I went to a neurologist for help. Over a year and half. Often it also affect my skin. Goose bumps crawling feeling all day long! Well have I got news for him.I was not crazy about that either. my gp I visited last month just to say. I know you don't know what is wrong but I still got it. Knows too I sat in neros office two months ago ,,,same thing. I said dr i just want you know ME when I end up in er..and i need you. well it was er straight to icu. Home now with electrical issues. Last last night meds have my average at 52 bpm.it woke me. 2 3 am. I use my tricks to get back to sleep.as soon as felt sleep coming on the stomach feeling spread. It woke me up heart pounding.sweat .out of breath!!! Happened several times . then checked average heart rate on my Garmin. 48. Average 48 so i was probably lower. Maybe 45! My natural pace maker kicked in every time sleep lowered bpm and I was short on air. Natural pace maker? Adrenaline can't wait to see what was recorded on my device Thank you body! Now I think i know what as going on for long time hidden from doc view. Electric shock adrenaline style...See More8'6" ceilings-prefer not to-the-ceiling cabinetry
Comments (14)I think you should do what makes sense to you being that you are aware of what some consider the "downside" to not having cabinets to the ceiling. It is a personal preference. I wanted to go to the ceiling in our 9' h kitchen but given the extra expense weighed against the usability of that space it did not make sense to me. Having said that we have 39" h cabinets on order with cabinet crown molding as well (all to be installed this spring in new home). I wish I had a photo to show you. I did agree with my KD that doing 39" h cabinets would look better than 42" because it would allow more than just a little space and we do want crown molding to continue around the room, as we will have crown in adjacent dining room, hallway and family room. In my current home we have a lower ceiling and I have 36" h cabinets which are the perfect height for reaching all items on top shelf without needing a step stool (I am on the tall side 5'8") I hope this helps!...See Morekinda bummin....water temp was 86°.....................
Comments (2)Yeah, we're in the same area and boat as Stonesmama. How depressing to watch the weather report and see nothing but triple digit highs across the board for 7 days, argh! I like to swim before noon on the weekends because the water is a crisp 85, just where I like it. By evening it's up to 92 which is too warm if the sun's out but feels pretty good after dark when the air temp starts dropping off....See MoreWeek 86: The Basics
Comments (32)Beachem, did he say that he would name the halibut Eric? I have full pantry cupboards but a lot of it is impulse buys of something I see on sale "ooh, that sounds interesting to try" then it is weeks before I do anything with it. I rarely keep peanut butter because I love it too much. Any jar will be empty in much less than a week. Staples for me include: I keep one small bag of flour, and one of sugar -- keep the flour in the fridge because I go through it so slowly. I don't bake much from scratch -- but always keep bisquick for what I do like to bake (impossible pies, casseroles, biscuits, pancakes). Rice lasts a long time, too. Whole wheat couscous. Always have oatmeal, cream of wheat, eggs. Not a big fan of cold cereals. Dried fruits like prunes or those chopped mixes, raw walnuts and almonds and almond meal. Tea and cocoa powder, and those sticks of flavored drink mix in summer. Popcorn! Cooking: olive oil (both dark and light), a small bottle of canola oil, and I save the oil that I pour off the peanut butter when I do buy it. Boxed chicken and vegetable broths for quick homemade soups. Canned tuna. I do stock up on canned soups when on sale since I take one often for lunch at work. Also, when on sale and running low, stock up on veggie/WW pastas. Always have tortillas in the freezer and refried beans & jarred salsa in the pantry. Love my homemade fresh salsa but jarred is good for quick dinners. Freezer: Usually keep a bag of veggie protein crumbles, fish, pork loin, chicken all bought when on sale and wrapped in individual servings. Also some kielbasa. And a large variety of frozen vegetables -- more economical for me than canned or fresh, and just as nutritious (or more) than fresh in most cases. This includes bags of frozen grape tomatoes from my garden. Also, must admit, usually one or two frozen pizzas from TJs or Aldi. Mushrooms, peppers, and greens in the fridge always. Sour cream, cottage cheese, yoghurt, butter. Fresh apples. Lemons. Tofu. Parmesan/romano cheese (grated). Mozzarella cheese sticks. Laughing cow wedges. Condiments: horseradish, mustard (a variety), mayo, soy sauce, sesame oil, pickles, olives, malt/cider/white/wine vinegars, chili oil. Seasonings: I have way too many but I depend most upon my garlic, cinnamon, pepper, paprika, ground red pepper, jerk seasoning and herbs provence. There are many other things that I will always buy when at an especially good price, or things (like molasses) that I use but a few times a year, but not things that I find I want to be sure to have week after week....See MoreKathsgrdn
