Colors: Exterior Vinyl Update from 80's Shed
Comments (7)Had a client who had bees. Removed 55-gallon container of hive and bees and they came back. pheromones Have to have someone who knows how to eliminate the pheromones so the bees cannot find their way back. https://bestbeebrothers.com/blogs/blog/getting-rid-of-carpenter-bees-a-guide Maintenance versus value is the decision. You should learn from a real estate broker if changing to vinyl will devalue your home. Making the fixes and restaining should cost as much as refacing. To my thinking, the color of your stain currently doesn't work with the other finishes or maybe it's just very 70's 80's design. I wonder if there is a way to get it back to a more natural finish....See Moreexterior design help! 80s update.

Comments (15)You've got shakes and brick on the front and, what appears to be, vinyl along the side. Was the house built like this in the 1980's? If so, then just paint it all one color. Or remove the front brick and shingle and re-side. Or just re-side the whole thing in fiberboard if your budget allows. If you want to play with the roofline, then that's going to require some input from a professional (like an architect). I think painting it all one color is the answer. However, I am reading a book on Bungalows and Craftsman homes and they painted the upper and lower floors different colors specifically to make the homes appear lower and wider. So maybe that's an option--but you don't have a visual divider between the 2 floors on the sides so, again, I would just go with all one color. You don't need to make it look less like a dutch colonial, you just need it to look like the prettiest Dutch Colonial. You need nice landscaping....See More80s home exterior needs updating
Comments (10)Romabio for your stone. The Classico is a lime wash. Romabio also has masonry paint that will give you a thicker coverage. I suggest you search out Romabio before and after (on stone facades) so you can see the transformations That pink stone around your garage is horrible w/the coloring of the house. I'd paint all of that in a heartbeat....See MoreCelery. Visualization, Rendering images
