Quartz slab backsplash transition around/to window trim
Comments (19)@diane7151 Thank you! We actually just went with the stock white through the semi-custom cabinet manufacturer, there was a warm white (too creamy) and ice type white, I wanted it crisp and didn't have a need for a custom white because the ice white sample looked good with all of our other swatches. The wall color is BM Pale Oak, with bright white trim, which helps the cabinets pop. I do think a custom paint job can provide a yummier texture and finish, just something I've thought about after the fact because we have a custom vanity in our master that seems smoother, but it's a rich blue gray which might be why it feels more luxurious? With white kitchen cabinets and two hound dogs...I'm sure the cabinets will need to be repainted at some point anyway LOL, so we'll see if a custom white feels any different....See MoreQuartz Slabs Not Exactly Matching Advertised Dimensions
Comments (5)When you order slabs of quartz they can vary an 1" to 1.5" shorter per side. Also, usable dims are going to be smaller than that. You do not want to use the 1" closest to the edge of the slab all the way around....See MoreTwo quartz slabs from different lots
Comments (61)wilson853, the delay was mainly because I wanted to wait until my husband was in town and could supervise. We didn't discover it until later, but they didn't leave a big enough gap for the stove, and they put silicone between one of the doors and the counter so the door wouldn't open. This time they sent different subcontractors and I was much happier....See Morecaesarstone slab yard Los Angeles
Comments (8)Yes, it is important to see and approve each slab individually, ESPECIALLY if you will have 2 slabs meeting up together. You can simply use the search function up above here to search for "quartz slabs don't match" or "quartz slabs different than sample" or what not. Some people choose their white paint for their cabinets based on the quartz sample...and then are disappointed that the slabs installed look more yellowy than the paint... Yes, it is important to see and identify YOUR slab(s), and be there for install making sure you received what you paid for....See Moregirl_wonder
