Is the paint color an off white (cream)? If so, you color options are basically endless, depending what color your roof is or if you have any brick or stone on the house. When choosing paint colors for my house a couple of years ago, I kept in mind the color of stone on the front of my house, the brick on my chimney color, and my green roof. I then went to Behr's website and played with color combinations and found something that both my husband and I agreed on. With the color of your house in mind and what looks like a dark roof, maybe black, there are so many color combinations you could go with. I chose paints from Behr Marquee and the house color is Taupe Tease, trim is Superior Blue (my husband's favorite color), and the doors are Fire Cracker Red (my favorite color): All 3 colors work well together and work with the roof, brick, and stone colors as well. I also chose colors that no one else had in our neighborhood.

Be aware that most folks here despise decorative shutters that are too skinny for the Windows and refer to them as "shudders". It doesn't matter if your home was built with them. Consider adding wider trim to all of the windows. If budget allows, consider a portico for the entryway. I think with your roof color, you could do a dark trim and shutter color, if that appeals. A dark gray, black, dark maroon, navy, etc. Or white trim, dark shutters: You could also beef up the columns, example: https://www.younghouselove.com/column-like-i-see-em/ If you like the shutters, keep them, as they are appropriate to the era and style of your home. They were used as house decoration, not meant to be technical. If you haven’t already, do some searches for ’tan brick rancher’ ... ‘tan brick shutter color’ ... etc.

I would take the shutters off. They are part of a style, but IMO they don't really work well on your house. My top choice of things to do would be to add a front porch where the front door is. I would also do some bright landscaping near the house to disguise the fact that the windows (oddly) don't line up. It would be good to have at least one big tree in the front lawn. They look to be a hallmark of the neighborhood. Mature trees help with house value. If it were me, I'd do a cream siding with maybe black detailing at the windows.
