Lee should be less expensive than the Henredon. Quality-wise there shouldn't be much difference. If one of your main concerns is long-term durability, pay attention to the fabric you choose. The cost of the fabric has no relationship to its durability. Very expensive fabrics can be very delicate while cheaper fabrics can be very strong. Do you know the name of the fabric - is it Riva? If it is, this has 32,500 double-rubs which is a great number, it won't wear out quickly. I love this fabric! It will be soft and I personally love the feel of natural fibers. You will get fading if it's near a sunny window, but if not then don't worry about it!

Really get leather linen is never going to hold up to kids on a daily basis IMO no fabric keeps looking good for any length of time in a family room with kids

I think slipcovered would be more practical ..as it is washable...not sure white would be my first choice in your case....usually a pattern or color variations will last longer between washings...washing slipcovers is not a quick process and the size of the slipcovers can be a challenge in a regular size washer...depending on the style of the sofa it can involve lots of zipping and stretching to put the covers back on after washing..another observation...natural fiber covers usually feel much nicer to sit on than the stain repellant fabrics...if that matters to you ...look for a heavier fabric (like canvas) and find the right stain/spot removers to give you more time between washings...Folex makes an excellent carpet spot remover that works well for this...
