Need Help with Master Bed Bath and Closet Layout

Here's a screenshot. Rooms need to stay in the order they are. as the bedroom opens up to a balcony, which is the whole length of the front of the house. The master bath 7*12. Closet about 8*8 , bedroom 11.5*12. I don't like the linen. The proliferation of doors. The 7' shower with no linen INSIDE the bathroom. Any way to tweak it? I keep playing with it.

Comments (7)If you recess the vanity into the closet it might make sense to make the entry to the closet next to the vanity (swinging into the closet) and close up the door to the bedroom. You'd gain wall space in the bedroom, and wouldn't have two doors in a row, and it may make closet layout easier. Comments (8)I agree but I never want to walk through the bathroom to get to the closet, closet design is all about what you have to store in the closet . I have 100+ pairs of shoes so need a spot for them. I love my window in my walk in closet the natural light is great for putting outfits together and I also have LED lighting in daylight bulbs for the same reason. You can easily have a moveable island in the center but first change the way to enter the closet.That freestanding tub seems very close to the wall you need at least 12” there to be able to clean behind the tub....See MoreMaster bath (and closet) layout help
Comments (21)I still like no. 1 better but before you go ahead with this dimension of shower, for precautions, I would shop for vanities just to make sure you can find one that size. Also, for me, an 18x32 vanity would be too small. It may not for you but I suggest that you compare what you have right now and see if you would be satisfied with a vanity that size. The drawers might be very narrow. All of that may work for you but it does not hurt to check before you commit. If you find the vanity too small or you can't find any of that size, you might have to change the angle of the shower. You can also have a custom made vanity, but also check if you can find a sink the right size for that vanity. Also, if you find you have not enough storage you may want the cabinet I suggested in the bottom left corner. In that case, I would put a sliding door in the middle of the bathroom (not to the left. 4 years agoPut the toilet and linen on the wall by the bathroom door and the vanity on the wall with the window. How far off the floor is the window? Can you extend the counter there? IMO double vanity is overrated
