I need help with some ideas for my new living room...
Comments (10)Maybe you aren't as creative as you would like to be, but you probably know what you like and what you don't like. So that's why you should get a bunch of magazines and on-line pictures to start seeing what speaks to you and what doesn't. We now know that you don't want orange. What other colors don't you want/what colors do you love? Do you have a Calico Corners or JoAnn's nearby? Try browsing the fabrics and figure out what and colors and patterns you like: stripes/plaids/polkadots/floral? This is where you can start, and then we can work from there....See MoreHelp, need some paint color ideas
Comments (2)I don't have any suggestions specifically, but a great place to start is with the Cambria website. Strange, I know, but they have partnered with BM to coordinate paint colors to their solid surface materials. Try finding one of their styles that is close to your stone and you can get some ideas of coordinating colors. Here is a link that might be useful: Cambria BM colors...See MoreCan these colors play together in living room with some help?

Comments (19)I actually like that better (with a rug!) Blocking a doorway is never a good idea. adding a few chairs like that is also nice try a larger artwork piece over back of sofa (hung 4-6" from the sofa!) like this something like this. and maybe a new fan. Then take your 4 pieces and group them in a square on that other wall. make sure to hang them at the right height side table, little lamp a neutral jute rug to anchor everything world market has this one maybe one of their chairs?...See MoreLori
