Please help me put together our living room!
Comments (67)I've been playing with the SW color visualizer tool and came up with a ton of different schemes, but this one is pointing me toward an overall house palette that I really like. It's very "beigey", it isn't at all trendy, but it's very warm, looks a lot like the clothes in my closet - jeans and earthy tops :) - and just might work. If I want to spice it up, I think I can add or swap a gray such as amazing gray or intellectual gray into the mix to bring it into the 21st century. (There's a good amount of gray in the fabric already.) I know that the colors that the app generates aren't exact, but it's a good road map. Waddyathink? :)...See MoreHelp in pulling things together in dining room and living room
Comments (12)Thank you for all of your suggestions. Yes, I need curtains. I was trying to decide what color - HavingFun - I think those curtains are out of stock. Would a blue or white curtain work? Fabric? I do like the french country/ cottage look. Pillows - blues to match the rug? versus aqua? Yes, I am toying with moving the buffet to under that window. Someone else had suggested that. I don't know if that space where the buffet is currently would look to open. Another person had also suggested moving the sofa to the side where the buffet is, and getting two chairs on the other side (not the pink chair). And, a bench under the big window. I haven't tried it yet. I do like my white chair that matches the sofa. I'll have to play around....See MorePls help me tie together living room
Comments (7)Hi Lynnea, apologies for the delay. I created a 3D version of your room based on the plan you provided. Let the room look n feel open and spacious. You can have the main seating area in the fireplace room. I placed an open tall unit in the corner to make use of the space. The TV unit is placed on the wall opposite to the sofa so it can be viewed from any part of the room. If you can get rid of the built in, it would be better. If not you can use the space to place books and decor items. Add a chair, floor lamp and plant to create a reading space. If the TV is placed inside the built-in, watching TV from the far end of the room may not be very comfortable. This layout creates 2 separate areas that can easily be used as one. Hope this helps. We could work on more layouts too if you'd like any changes....See MoreI cannot get my living room put together. Please help!
Comments (21)Here is the link for this rug: https://www.rugsusa.com/rugsusa/rugs/rugs-usa-interspersed-greyscale/Natural/200SSND01A-76096.html A number of rug sites have a visualizer tool that you can use to try out rugs in your space. Rugs.com, RugsUSA.com., esalerugs.com, and there are others. The tool is very easy to use. But even with the visualizer tool, when purchasing rugs online, still best to get smallest size first, to check for color, texture, etc. Do what works best for you. The drop down tv mounts can work well. Nothing wrong with your current setup, though - nor with your curtains, for that matter. But if you decide to keep current rug, just go with different curtains. All depends on what you want to do. Your space. 👍...See Morecawaps
