Comments (38)Another beautiful house that fell into the gray trap. Get rid of the gray and the house will be fine. Choose one of the colors out of the bigger color scheme of littlebug. The white is too white too. A tone of light beige will accommodate the walls to the brick. A truly dark red or dark green might be nice accent colors, but don't overdo it. Maybe just the door and the swing (which can stay in my opinion, but the pillows are too modern). Besides that: do people not build and buy such houses for the 'dated' look? It is supposed to look like from another era. So do not update, but preserve the look. The rest of the house is beautiful as it is. It doesn't have to be all Tudor style, per se. Have you seen the movie 'pride or prejudice'. That house also has such a wooden railing. In my opinion your door and windows look beautiful too. Some agents of styles tend to become to stringent. So: paint will do a marvelous job on an already lovely house....See MoreHow can I make my couch look less blue, more grey.
Comments (20)Your room is lovely; it's unfortunate that some people get satisfaction from being rude - must make them feel better about themselves somehow. When you put the sample against the couch are they different or the same? Or did you not actually have a sample or just the pic of it. If you don't have a sample, I'd order one and see if they are the same. The color is lovely; I personally think it is much more interesting and livable than a darker gray would be, but that's me, not you. It looks great in your space. Will the store take it back if the fabric doesn't match the sample?...See MoreHelp! How to make an Obtuse Triangle Tahoe home seem Less Obtuse?!!
Comments (7)This house does not need corrugated iron or stone. It’s best features are its simplicity and strong shapes, lean into those. New simple wood front doors Wood garage doors (though I would probably stick with the existing painted the siding color) Remove all traditional elements like the coach lanterns and replace with something simple Let the driveway deck age naturally Stain the wood driveway railings with solid color stain to match the siding. They aren’t a feature Think about the house, where do you want to direct people? The front door? If so that is the feature and everything else should be secondary....See Moremxk3 z5b_MI
