What to put on chair/table legs to protect wood floor?
Comments (2)I did not see what the links above pulled up (probably what I am going to describe)but go to Lowes or Home Depot. They have several options. For chairs and other furniture with legs, they have various sizes of plastic disks with a special sleeve mounted to them to hammer into the bottom of the legs. The nature of the sleeve makes it so it WILL NOT split any wood, they remain securely fastened and are ideal for furniture that is moved often like chairs and I have used them on some pretty nice antique pieces with no problems (when you see the construction, you will understand better). These disks are covered with a dense wool felt. For other pieces (those that are not moved often), they have peel and stick pieces that can be cut to size and adhered to the bottom of furniture. In each case, the felt lasts forever. We have had some for 15 years that are still in good shape....See MoreWhat chairs to match walnut dining table?
Comments (4)I think I have a more traditional or contemporary theme going on. Couch is contemporary (crate and barrel) and living room is traditional. I was thinking of getting traditional parsons chairs. I found ones at pottery barn, but their quality isn't great so I may check wayfair. I'm still on the hunt for coffee table set for two rooms (den and family room). The bedroom is contemporary. So I guess I can just go with the rest of the colors in the living room? I have a brown theme going on....See MoreName That Chair!!! Help finding chairs to match this table
Comments (8)You can change almost anything in a rental, as long as you restore it to the ugly it was. So yes, you CAN paint walls, and yes, you can take down a hideous light, and hang something else until you leave, and you can hang it at the right height too. You can hang large and lightweight canvas art with command hooks. ....................You can do any darn thing you want that isn't PERMANENT.https://www.hayneedle.com/product/belham-living-paige-open-back-dining-chair-brown-herringbone-set-of-2.cfm...See MoreLooking for chairs to match West Elm Anton table?
Comments (3)Hi Andrea! I was wondering if you got the Anton table. I was wondering if it was a pain to squeeze two chairs on the long side and if on the short side it was hard on the knees bumping into the table leg. I also was reading about how it scratches easy and water stains... any thoughts? Thanks so much for your insight and help!...See MoreSina Sadeddin Architectural Design
