Comments (20)The half hour drive down to our daughter's house took an hour. Flooding, crazy wind and having to move a tree that fell down across the road in front of us. Luckily the tree was dead and broke in pieces. My hubby and 4 guys from other cars cleared the road and we went on our merry way. Only to get home and a tree is down across our road. After attending the Halloween parade at my grand daughter's Montessori school all I can say is that I am glad I'm past those days of creating an unusual costume. One of the cutest and ever so simple ones was a boy dressed as a box of McDonald's french fries. The box was cut into the appropriate shape, painted red with a yellow McD symbol on the front and the fries were made from yellow upholstery foam.
