About me: I started my blog, Fixing it Fancy, in 2008 while living in Hudson, Wisconsin. My husband and I had purchased a fixer-upper built in 1900 and even though our families only lived about 1.5 hours away, this blog was a great means for sharing our home’s progress. I diligently documented every room before, took photos along the way and shared the after. I quickly realized how much I liked blogging and started peppering in other topic-related posts; recipes, fashion, trip recaps, etc.
Though our home renovation is completed and we actually have since moved to New Jersey, I still continue to casually share the big and small events in our daily lives.
I’m a self-employed eco-friendly graphic and website designer, owning and operating 13thirtyone Design LLC.
