pottery barn sectional - analysis paralysis!

HI all - i am looking to purchase a PB sectional for our basement. Will be used by tweens and teens. I am thinking a dark gray/charcoal color and i would like to to be slipcovered. I would like to be able to wash the slipcovers - even if on delicate cycle to air dry if necessary. I am looking at a chaise on both ends and a love seat in the middle as the basement room will be somewhat narrow.

I have gone into the deep abyss of reading every review and discussion - thank you to all who contribute. and now some questions.

Questions:

- PB comfort or pearce (or is there another comfortable style i should consider)?

- If PB comfort - memory foam or down?

- thoughts on english roll arm style or regular rounded arms?

- based on my research, it sounds like the fabrics that pass muster are performance canvas, everyday linen, washed linen/cotton and brushed canvas (is this the same as washed canvas?). Do i have this list right? I know that velvet and suede get positive reviews as well but i am not interested those fabrics for this purchase.

Thank you in advance!!
