I fiinally identified my mystery vine

It's a Japanese Climbing Hydrangea (Schizophragma hydrangeoides). It's probably a new variety called "Moonlight," which has the silvery leaves. This page has pictures of the "Moonlight" leaves and a pic of the species in bloom. ( scroll down almost to the bottom) It has the same flowers as lace cap hydrangeas.

It's supposed to be grown in shade, and it needs a strong structure to grow on, so I''ll probably put it up on the privacy fence somewhere. One site says it can take up to three years to bloom, so I've got a wait on my hands. I'm just happy to know what it is.

I'm going to go get more cuttings to root. They seem to be very easy. I just stuck a few into a pot and they're getting new growth.
